My first job at age 15 was for Leslie Henson Aerials when it was based in PLaza Way, Southchurch.My brother David Hayes already worked there and he got me a job.I started off as a mate and gradually learnt the trade to become a rigger. lots of happy memories driving around Essex and E London doing about 8 jobs a day. Nice bunch of lads and Brian Findley and Les were great guys. What has become of them? I worked with all the guys including Paul Eaton,Bob Simpson, Pete Collins and Dave my brother who gave me such excellent training.

I eventually went back to college and got a degree in English and now am a teacher in Thailand!A slightly different job but I won't forget happy days at Henson's.I wonder if Les remembers me getting slightly drunk one Xmas eve, on whisky! Robert Hayes .
